Elipse E3 and Elipse Power updated
Latest version 6.5 of Elipse’s platforms features new functionalities in database support and enhanced performance and security
Elipse Software, the global software developer specialized in solutions for real-time management of several processes, has just launched the updated version of two of its top products, Elipse E3 and Elipse Power. Both applications now have two new options for integration: native support to PostgreSQL, and native support to MySQL. Additionally, the OPC UA Client connection now supports new security profiles.
New improvements were also made to the tools’ performance when using multiple asynchronous queries in the database. Moreover, alarms are now more easily suppressed, according to ANSI ISA 18.2 standard, and users can be managed in real time in a simpler way. Because it no longer relies on IE (Internet Explorer), the renderer of web contents that are displayed in frames was updated, and it now uses Microsoft Edge’s engine.
Elipse Power’s Self-Healing module’s intelligence has also been enhanced in order to search for equipment to be used in reenergization maneuvers. Last but not least, the module now has new features for acting in underground networks. For further information, please check our Elipse E3 6.5 release notes and Elipse Power 6.5 release notes.
