Elipse Power 5.5 is released with new features for distribution companies
Elipse Software, a global software developer specialized in solutions for real-time management of industrial processes, have just released the newest version of their integrated platform for electric systems management. Elipse Power 5.5 comes with new, exciting features in its modules for electricity distribution companies.
New features were introduced to Elipse Power ADMS, aimed at importing the registry system’s electric model on the distribution and management network of its operations schematic diagrams. The tool for importing the distribution network, generating schematic views, and importing for the operations screen was optimized, thus making the process of creating and maintaining the application more efficient.
The Self-Healing module also presents new features, such as support to underground distribution networks as well as improvements both in the logic for choosing the reclosers that will take part in the maneuver and the configuration and selection of protection adjustment groups. Additionally, Elipse Power 5.5 has got new implementations in order to fit the demands of standard ISA 18.2 regarding alarms: a new level of severity (“critical”) was created, as well as new features for developing the alarms’ shelves.
Lastly, the new version allows monitoring the status of connection between viewers, remote domains, and domain, in addition to products present in the product key, whose function for managing links was optimized.
