Announcement

07/12/2016

It’s the end of an era for Elipse Software: Tech support for Elipse SCADA, one of its most popular products, is scheduled to end on August 31, 2017. The service’s discontinuation was announced by the company this week, and reflects Elipse’s policy of total transparency with customers about its actions and products’ updates.

With these changes, customers who wish to continue receiving support and updates for their projects must migrate to Elipse E3 version 4.7. Regarded as Elipse Software’s flagship product, this modern platform is based on a client-server architecture with native redundancy, and was developed to meet current and future connectivity, flexibility, and reliability requirements. Migration from Elipse SCADA to Elipse E3 is fully facilitated by the company’s commercial department; to do so, contact your sales representative and they will guide you through the whole process.

Launched in 1995, Elipse SCADA (known as Elipse Windows for its first four years) represents the first major step in the company’s history towards becoming a major player in the industrial automation market worldwide. Alongside Elipse E3 (launched in 2001), this groundbreaking platform has been instrumental in the development of thousands of solutions for many different processes. With their user-friendly interfaces, both technologies (Elipse E3 and Elipse SCADA) have achieved international recognition; Elipse E3 now stands out as the future of automation solutions for Elipse Software’s customers worldwide.
