Between December 9th and 20th, Elipse Software’s business director Marcelo Salvador, along with Evan Liu, company’s manager in Taiwan, gave a series of lectures in different power utility companies in Taiwan, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
On December 11th, Salvador opened the RoadShow in Taiwan, talking about automation in substations, training operators, and information management using Elipse Plant Manager. The circuit, which was supported by the Taiwanese partner Baufarm, targeted representatives of several departments in Taiwan Power Company.
Next, Salvador and Liu visited the operation center for 126 substations that use Elipse solutions, located at the NTU (National Taiwan University) campus, in an area of more than one million square meters.
Right after Taiwan, Salvador and Liu headed towards Vietnam, under the arrangement of Elipse Vietnamese partner, Safenergy, they gave lectures in three companies of the EVN Group: EVN SPC (Southern Power Corporation), EVN NPC (North Power Corporation), and EVN NPT (National Power Transmission).
On December 19th and 20th, it was time for companies TNB (Tenaga Nasional Berhad) and Sarawak Energy, both located in Malaysia, to receive the RoadShow, which topped its passage through Asia off, according to Salvador.
“The RoadShow contributed to narrow the bonds between Elipse and Asian partners and clients. We are very happy with the results”, he said.
“During this Asia trip, we got a great chance to present to our customers the Elipse total solution, from gateway substation SCADA to control center SCADA, together with Elipse Plant Manager and Mobile application. I could see that they got very impressed with the value of the Elipse solution”, said Liu.
