Mr. Darwin Tanoto and Mr. Lee Tze Siong visited some company's applications in Rio Grande do Sul and in São Paulo

In the last couple of weeks, Elipse Software hosted visitors from the other side of the world. Mr. Darwin, P.T. Winindo Karya Dinamika's president and Mr. Lee Tze Siong, Innovative Energy Pte Ltd's director, were at company's offices in Porto Alegre and São Paulo, to discuss new projects and actions for 2012 in Asia. Accompanied by Elipse Taiwan's manager Evan Liu, the executives from Indonesia and Singapore also visited three Elipse cases on some clients in Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo.

On March 2nd, Liu, Darwin, and Siong visited Rio Grande Energia (RGE), a power dealer from north-northeastern region of Rio Grande do Sul, in the city of Caxias do Sul. RGE uses Elipse's software to control a total of 61 sub-transmission substations, 22 switches, 45 reconnectors, and one power voltage regulator. The next week, 6th and 7th, the executives could meet two other large Elipse's applications installed in Elektro, in the city of Campinas, and CPFL, in São Paulo.
Considered the best energy distribution company in Brazil, Elektro adopted Elipse Power to automate its distribution and measuring system. This solution allows operators to control 122 substations, 400 reconnectors, 650 power meters, and 200 remotes. As for CPFL, known as the largest private company of the Brazilian power sector, this software is used to control 17 PCHs, allowing operators to monitor and perform commands over a device's array (valves, turbines, generators, etc.) responsible for power generation.

Since July 2007, when Taiwan's branch launched its operations, Elipse is working to improve its sales on Asian market. To do so, the Brazilian company has been counting on important international companies, which use Elipse's software to provide solutions for their customers.
